STUDYLOGIC Sees Out-of-Home decline in Coffee Consumption

February 2024

Market Intelligence Firm, STUDYLOGIC sees Out-of-Home decline in coffee consumption for the first time since the COVID Pandemic recovery.

According to Analyst Taylor Smith: Consumers are feeling the impact of inflation and are starting to reduce their out-of-home consumption from luxury retailers. Over the past few years, brands such as Starbucks have benefited from the surge in out-of-home consumption. Average tickets/product pricing has risen by double digits, putting a strain on continued growth.

In the past 3 years, the average ticket within Luxury Coffee Shops has risen by 24%.
