According to Analyst Amanda Roth: Consumers are slowly returning back to work. While job unemployment remains at an all-time global low, higher wages make it very competitive and difficult for employers to convince employees to return. Coffee consumption at-work has not recovered and is still down 35-40% from pre-pandemic levels.

With inflation easing and higher employment, employers may end up with the upper hand. Only time will tell.
